Introduction

Binh Chau – Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, located in Binh Chau & Xuyen Moc Commune, Ho Chi Minh City, is a unique coastal primary forest that remains largely intact in Vietnam.

Covering an area of more than 10,500 hectares, the reserve features diverse ecosystems ranging from Dipterocarp forests and Melaleuca forests to coastal areas, along with rich flora and fauna. It is an ideal destination for ecotourism and trekking.

Tam Bo Peak is located within Binh Chau – Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve. From the summit, visitors can enjoy panoramic views overlooking the Ho Tram – Ho Coc coastline. The climb to Tam Bo Peak is not overly difficult, yet it offers a rewarding challenge and a memorable experience amidst nature.

Rich biodiversity: The nature reserve is home to 732 plant species and 205 vertebrate species, including many rare species listed in the Red Data Book. The area is also notable for the endemic Sand Dipterocarp tree.
