Ta Nang Phan Dung is nominated as the most beautiful trekking route in Viet Nam passing through three provinces: Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan. Its stunning landscape reflects the diversity and greatness of nature from the highlands to the central coastal plateau. You will constantly move on long slopes with altitudes from 500m to 1,100m above sea level. The total length of trekking is about 31km with high difficulty. You will climb up and down continuously.
Trekking tour Ta Nang – Phan Dung is one of those treks that tests your endurance at every turn, rewarding you with breathtaking views of the mountains and hills, the vastness of heaven and earth, and the opportunity to release your spirit into the great emptiness. After completing this difficult hike, you’ll have more strength and energy to resume your regular activities.
Schedule
Departure night:
22:30: You are picked up in a private vehicle (seat) in Ho Chi Minh City to Duc Trong.
04:00: Arriving at Ta Nang Sports Center, you take a break to get ready for an exciting trekking excursion.
Day 1: Trekking 15 km to Ta Nang and make camp on the hill
06:30: Enjoy breakfast at Ta Nang Sports Center as you watch the sunrise. Don’t forget to replenish your energy so you can conquer 15km on the first day. TropiAd will give the trekking trip’s equipment and safety guidelines.
You can relax in comfort, breathe in the fresh morning air of Ta Nang, and, if you are lucky you can see white storks flying leisurely in the blue sky.
08:00: As you start the journey, the scene of lush and green fields inhabited by local people will appear. Occasionally, you will see a few horses or cows leisurely grazing on the hillside.
13:00: After having lunch under the cool forest canopy with nutritious dishes, you take the opportunity to rest to continue trekking the rest of the way.
14:00: You’ll be overwhelmed with the sight of boundless mountains and hills as soon as you cross the mixed forest and reach the top of a steep incline. You may have the option of enlarging the zoom.
WELCOME TO TA NANG!
18:00: You set a camp on top of a windy hill in the evening. You’ll enjoy BBQ and interesting stories about the mountains and forests next to the cozy fire.
Day 2:
06:00: You rise early to catch the first rays of sunrise on the hilltop, and you enjoy a hot breakfast and a rich cup of coffee.
08:00: After cherishing unique moments in the forest and mountains, you gather your things and get ready for the about 11-kilometer return trip.
The return trip is a continuous downhill journey so be sure to follow the tour leader’s instructions on stepping strategies to protect your feet.
12:00: As you eat lunch by the stream, you enjoy of the chance to cool off with a foot dip in the crystal-clear water while you observe fish swimming around.
After a lunch break, you continue the journey downhill, on both sides of the road are large rocks with strange shapes.
16:00: Get out of the forest, the car picks you up and takes you to Co Thach beach, swim and have dinner here.
19:00: Car picks you up and takes you back to Ho Chi Minh City. Expect to arrive around 23:00 – 00:00 early morning.

You should prepare:
- You are advised to read the ‘tour agreements’ and the ‘Policy for Tour Cancellations’ carefully and take due considerations before tour booking and making payments.
- After making tour payment, you will receive detailed instructions for the trekking tour. A careful review of the instructions will help you prepare better for the trip and thus can avoid unnecessary embarrassing situations.
- To reduce plastic waste, you are encouraged to bring your own water bottle. TropiAd will supply you with water at the starting point and refill it at the lunch stop.
- Cause the internet connection is not available in this mountain area, you are advised to arrange things in advance and inform your relatives/ close people about this so that they are not worried. If you need to answer nature’s call before reaching the camping ground, you can do so in the jungle, at a private place far away from the water source and avoid littering paper tissue behind. Instead, please put it in the personal garbage disposal bag provided by TropiAd and dump it at the camping site.
